Dates for this module are set on request from member copmanies for full classes with delivery provided on-site. At the end of this 6-day module learners should be able to:

  • Demonstrate a metacognitive approach (facts in own thinking habits) to autonomous troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate an ability to apply a strategic problem-solving logical thinking model to successfully find the cause of a broad range of technical fault types.
  • Demonstrate clear and concise communication skills, when escalating open-ended problems within a maintenance and a management team and document troubleshooting guides that assist in future problem diagnosis.
  • Describe using block-diagrams the inter-dependence and relationships of the sub-systems that make up a system and how to utilise these diagrams to assist fault-finding and team communication.
  • Apply reliability maintenance tools to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
 
  • Demonstrate question formation/interrogation skills used to retrieve pertinent fault description evidence from production operators for the maintenance technician role. Prices will
